A South American answer of sorts to “Slumdog Millionaire,” the pic features a trio of charismatic kids living next to a Rio garbage dump who stumble upon evidence certain to bring down a corrupt politico.
“Trash” works in large part thanks to the infectious energy and sheer pleasure in comradeship exuded by the three young teen boys, all around 14 years old (Stephen Daldry’s facility with boy actors once again stands him in good stead).
This film is kind if a puzzling one that goes on shocking for presenting the raw life of favelas beyond Rio de Janeiro famous exotic appearance. We see violence and blood mixed with garbage and childhood beauty, alongside a villain who sustains this smashing values on their strenght.
A grand devoter to music, Vlad likes to think about himself as a crowd pleaser because his positive vibes can move a dancefloor.
But that wasn’t enough for him to express through music so he begun producing music, starting from the oldschool sound of Chicago House at first, but constantly evolving towards a more actual sound of deep, tech, micro house.
Some of his groovy, astonishing tracks have been played by notable DJs such as Seth Troxler, Keinemusik, Solomun but also by romanian heroes such as Priku or Herodot.
