INTERWEAVE – Mapping Visual Polyphonies
RO/ Polyhedron aduce arta vizuală la Festivalul Internațional Opera Aperta Cluj-Napoca, ediția 2023, între 22 și 25 iunie.
Interweave este un proiect realizat în Parteneriat cu Opera Națională Română din Cluj-Napoca și sprijinul companiilor Ecolor și Emerson România. El aduce în fața publicului clujean trei instalații de artă realizate de către artiștii Liviu Bulea, Tudor Costin și Ștefana Hatnean. Acestea vor fi accesibile publicului pe toată durata festivalului în Parcul Operei (Ștefan cel Mare).
Pe 25 iunie, în timpul spectacolului Rigoletto din Piața Unirii, Polyhedron va folosi tehnologia motion capture pentru a reda în timp real mișcările maestrului dirijor David Crescenzi. Acestea vor fi transpuse într-un spectacol vizual pe unul dintre ecranele principale ale scenei. Numit Sculpting Soundscapes – A Visual Response to Opera. Lucrarea colaborativă reprezintă un demers ce aduce împreună tehnologii inovatoare, artele vizuale și artele spectacolului.

EN/ Polyhedron brings visual art to the 2023 Edition of the International Opera Aperta Festival in Cluj-Napoca, between June 22nd and 25th.
Interweave is realized in partnership with the Romanian National Opera in Cluj-Napoca, with the support of Ecolor and Emerson Romania. The event brings the audience in front of three art installations created by the artists Liviu Bulea, Tudor Costin, and Ștefana Hatnean. The installations will be accessible to the Cluj audience throughout the duration of the festival in the Opera Park (Steven the Great Park).
On June 25th, during the Rigoletto performance in Unirii Square, Polyhedron will use motion capture technology to translate the real-time movements of maestro conductor David Crescenzi into a visual spectacle on one of the main screens of the stage. Titled “Sculpting Soundscapes – A Visual Response to Opera,” this collaborative artwork brings together innovative technologies, visual arts, and the performing arts.
